Chat box

What is the chat box feature?

Our chat box feature allows you to always be in direct contact with our voice overs. You can use the chat to ask questions, make remarks or give instructions. Even when you haven’t booked your voice over yet, the chat box is available.

You can use it to ask for:

  • a customized sample,

  • request a quote,

  • or ask the voice overs about their experience with a specific target group or branch.

Do you then want to book the voice over you have been talking to? You can do that within the feature. The chat box then shortly closes, but once your booking has gone through it will open again.

Where do I find the chat box?

As soon as you have logged in and selected your project, you can use the chat.

Do you have a question for a voice over that will help you determine whether you should book them or not? You can use the chat for that. Go to the voice over and click ‘More info’. This will take you to their profile. On the right side, choose ‘Talk with the voice over’. In the window that opens, fill in the necessary information and click ‘Ask your question here’. The chatbox will now open, putting you in direct contact with the voice over.

Have you booked a voice over without chatting first? Then it’s even easier. The chat box opens automatically after your booking has gone through.

Do only the voice over and me have access to the chat?

You and the voice over share the chat. Voicebooking does, however, have a moderating role with all communication. We do this so that we can be of assistance and also act in the case of messages being of a less pleasant nature. You can also actively involve us in your chat by typing @voicebooking in the chat and we will assist as quickly as we can.

Have you booked a voice over including audio post production, e.g. editing and mastering, or audio mixing and mastering? Then you can also reach our editor via the chat. Type @editor in the chat. This allows you to ask questions, provide instructions and give approval directly to the editor who will be responsible for the post production of your audio.
